Style Beat has a terrific post on this book. I am definitely going to order it for Christmas to keep me motivated with this old house in the middle of the little City of Scranton.
I ordered it a couple of weeks ago. I rarely buy books, but I'd read a great review and bit, since it's perfectly on topic for my life right now. The book was *such* a disappointment! Really basic advice - the kind of thing that if you're into interiors you will definitely already know. The only part that was remotely helpful was the "sources" section at the back, but even then, I was already familiar with most of the vendors. My advice is to save your money.
