The new owners of the Falls Village Inn in Falls Village CT got a suprise visit from a neighbor while they were busy trying to renovate the worn out destination. One day in June when the couple was standing on the sagging porch, a woman walked up and put out her hand and said "I'm Bunny Williams and I would like to help you decorate the Inn", bewildering the owners as they had no idea who she was. See Bunny only lives a couple of hundred yards from the Inn and felt her weekend town needed a soul and a reason for people to visit again. So the very lucky owners got Bunny for free and the rest is history. Another reason to love her. I'm hoping Santa brings me her newest book, "A Scrapbook For Living". I've been good, right Santa???

I LOVE this story! Thanks so much for sharing. Now, back to Rural Intelligence - it looks very interesting. Happy holidays!
Hi- I have owed you a comment for ages and now realized the value of these little mentions for the blogger's spirit. Yours was one of the first blogs I ran across last holiday season when I found design blogs. I am an acct who lives outside of Philly and I have visited friends in Scranton often. I promise to stop by your shop the next time I am in town. I have very much enjoyed your postings and figured you were busy with the adorable kiddos and running a store- so sorry to hear that you had losses this year. I thank you for taking the time to share with us and please know that your Tommy kitchen is absolute inspiration for me to do a knock off on an investment property. I opened that post and could have wept I loved the kitchen so much. Happy holidays- Tricia
